Turtle time
Below are a few pics from the turtle hatching a few days ago on DeBordieu beach. It is one of the great annual events on our beach. Click here to read a great article about sea turtles and DeBordieu's own Betsy Brabson, queen of all things turtle. After finding this article, I abruptly stopped my attempt at writing about the turtles and deferred to the professionals of Southern Living. Enjoy!

Photos, please!
The prime weekend of the year has officially begun here at DeBordieu. Come Monday, there will be literally thousands of great photos from the weekend's activities. We would love to create a "July 4th 2009" photo album for everyone to enjoy. So, if you have some great pics to share from the weekend, please email them to rmoore@debordieu.com .
PS As a family-friendly blog, we can only post those photos that pass our strict editorial review. Any risque' submissions will be solely for the amusement of the editorial board.
